Aled Vernon-Rees is Woodbrooke’s Communication Officer. Aled works alongside the Head of Communications and the Learning & Research Administration Team to maintain and produce content for Woodbrooke’s communications channels.

Aled has a broad range of interests which include philosophy, politics, religion, music, literature, and nature. He has a BA (hons) in Philosophy from the University of East Anglia and an MA in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Leeds. During his MA he focused on the topic of Quaker advocacy, mediation and reconciliation in international settings specifically looking at the work of the Quaker United Nations Office (QUNO).

Before his role at Woodbrooke Aled worked at the Inter Faith Network for the UK helping to promote good inter-faith relations at all levels and increasing the awareness of the different and distinct faith communities in the UK.
